Harley Lovegrove's book is full of practical advice on how to ensure that you have your project under control from A to Z and that you keep your eyes focused on delivering results. Besides providing methodological guidance through its tested "Nine Steps" approach, it is full of anecdotes and practical case studies that make it an enjoyable, at times entertaining, as well as an interesting read. This is not the product of another management guru's far flung theories, but a practitioner's view based on personal experience. It focuses on a common sense approach that EVERY project manager can implement on a day-to-day basis. If you read one management book this year, it should be this one!
